Swinging for Change: BAI Foundation’s Celebrity Golf Tournament

The BAI Foundation is hosting its first-ever BAI Golf: Celebrity Invitational on April 4 to 5, 2025, at Liloan Golf and Leisure Estates. More than a game, this tournament is about giving hope to individuals struggling with addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges.

Since 2011, BAI Foundation has been helping people rebuild their lives. Partnering with Safehaven Recovery Village, they provide care and rehabilitation for those in need. Executive Director Lito Gruet, once an addict himself, now dedicates his life to helping others.

“To rescue more individuals, we need more people involved,” says Lito. That’s why this event brings together A-list celebrities like Tonton Gutierrez, Cesar Montano, and Gary Estrada, alongside golf enthusiasts, local officials, and corporate supporters.

The tournament aims to raise funds and awareness, ensuring that BAI’s mission continues beyond a single event. “This isn’t just for fun,” says BAI President Ronnie Delos Santos. “It’s a long-term commitment to change lives and make Cebu a safer place for everyone.”
